Vice President of Membership

In charge of recruiting AMA members each semester.  Plans classroom presentations with the Executive Board and the President. (Recommended for Marketing Majors)

  • Plans 2 alumni events per semester

  • Oversees the mentor program with freshman & sophomore business students

  • 1 recruitment event per month

  • In charge of Clubs Carnival and the Ancell Business Day booth

  • Keeps track of all registered AMA members

 

Director of Information Technology

Ensures that all technology needed at events is prepared for in advance and taken place. Director needs to be in attendance at most club events. (Recommended for MIS Majors)

  • Contacts the media department to request needed equipment.

  • Present at events to ensure all technology is running smoothly.

  • Works closely with IT&T on campus to plan workshops that our specifically offered for all club members.

 

Director of Consulting

​Is in charge of our Think Tank consulting meetings. Local businesses apporach our club asking for guidance or advice on how to further their projects. This director will schedule these appointments and encourage club attendance at these meetings. (Recommended for Entrepreneur Management/Management Majors)

  • Works with local businesses that approach the club. Great position for local networking!

  • Needs to be easy to contact, consistently checking email.

  • Assigns members to further work on projects once consultation is over.

  • Consistently seeking new opportunities in the community.

 

Director of Campus Activities

Seeks new events and opportunities on campus for our organization to take part in. Should be available for attendance at most club events. (Affiliation with other club organizations recommended)

  • Works closely with the CSI office.

  • Should be able to attend Club Council meetings with the SGA.

  • Working with the Ancell School of Business.

  • Works with both the VP of Community Service & Fundraising.

 

Open E-Board Positions

All positions are open to any Major, however you must attend Western Connecticute State University.
